Rumoured UFC 70 Card

Pride FC Highlight Video
This is primarly a UFC site, but there is no denying that there are some great, exciting fighters in the Pride organization. This is one of the best Pride highlight video's that I've come across. It has a good sampling of Pride fighters, including current UFC fighters Heath Herring, Mirko Cro Cop and Rampage Jackson.
UFC Event in UK
According to UFC.com
They really don't say much else. No talk about who's fighting, but we can bet Bisping will be on the card.
Las Vegas, NV – The Ultimate Fighting Championship® (UFC®) organization today announced its long-awaited return to Great Britain this spring when the world’s greatest mixed martial artists throw down at Manchester's MEN Arena Saturday, April 21.

Bob Sapp fighting at Cage Rage
Ok, I don't want to turn this into some sort of circus and I know Bob Sapp is not a major player in MMA, but I just thought I'd let you know he's supposed to be fighting April 21st somewhere...against somebody.
For anybody who doesn't think Bob Sapp is a joke, watch this"

Nate Marquardt to Fight For Middleweight Title
Dana White has promised UFC middleweight Nate "The Great" Marquardt a title shot later this year, this came after his dominant victory over Dean Lister (he knocked Lister down 5 times). The big question is "who will Nate be fighting?"
My pics for people he would have to face by the time he gets his shot are:
1) Anderson Silva
2) Rich Franklin
3) Jason MacDonald
4) Mike Swick
Obviously Anderson Silva is way out in front as Franklin needs to re-work his game if he's to re-gain his title. The others are outside shots to take the title away from Silva.

UFC 69 Card starting to take shape.
Two bouts have been officially added to April 7th’s UFC 69: Shootout card at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas.
In a middleweight matchup between two up and coming 185-pound prospects, ‘The Ultimate Fighter’ season three winner Kendall Grove looks to improve on his spotless UFC record when he takes on always-entertaining Alan ‘The Talent’ Belcher.
Veteran welterweights will also trade blows when Marcus Davis - fresh off back-to-back wins over Shonie Carter and Forrest Petz – squares off against TUF4’s Pete Spratt.
UFC Welterweight Champion Georges St. Pierre defends his crown for the first time against TUF4 winner Matt Serra in the main event of UFC 69, and the card also features a welterweight showdown between two of the division’s brightest young stars, Diego Sanchez and Josh Koscheck.
Bas Rutten vs Frank Shamrock
King of Pancrase fight. Watch for 3:53
What will it take to defeat Chuck Liddell?
I did a little thinking last night (while watching Ortiz - Shamrock 1 and Cabbage - Arlovski) about what it would take to defeat Chuck Liddell. Here's what I came up with.
#1) Cabbage's head
#2) Wanderlei Silva's Aggression
Or more specifically, a good chin and hard punches.
It's that simple. Rampage beat him because he was able to take Chuck's punches, then deliver hard shots of his own. Tito did not defeat Chuck (and never will) because he doesn't hit hard enough. I think if Tito - Chuck fought with head gear, Tito would win a striking match...on points.
If the UFC wants a competative fight at light heavy for the belt, feed chuck someone with good hands who can take a punch. Of course, that's exactly what they are doing bringing Rampage into the fold.

Don't forget Valentine's Day
Don't do what I did last year and leave it until the last minute, then end up spending $100 for roses which look like they've been run over by the delivery truck.

BJ Penn vs Takanori Gomi
This is a great war. I'd love to see a rematch!
Mirko Cro Cop vs Cheick Kongo?
I've been hearing rumours that at an upcoming UFC (maybe 70) Mirko Cro Cop will face Cheick Kongo. I think this could be an interesting fight as they are both big time strikers. Many are not giving Kongo a chance, but you just never know. It is a step up from Sanchez.
Travis Lutter hit a brick wall!
He said about 1 1/2 hours before the bout he stopped sweating altogether (even in the Sauna). At that point he knew he wouldn't make weight, but kept trying. The only reason he lost 1/2 pound more between the first and second weigh ins was a trip to the bathroom.
He is consulting with a nutritionist and figures he will keep his weight closer to 185, if the UFC lets him fight again.
UFC 69 Warm Up Matt Serra Highlight Video
Matt Serra is featured in several matches. If you never saw Matt Serra fight previous to the ultimate fighter, you must watch this video.
Matt Serra vs Takanori Gomi Video
Ever wondered what would happen if Serra fought Gomi? Wonder no more...this is from a grappling match in 2001. Sorry for the music:
