UFC 84 Results

Here we go folks, UFC 84. The full UFC 84 Results are after the jump.

Thiago Silva Vs. Antonio Mendes
Despite a strong early showing by Medes (two big kicks did some damage), Thiago Silva had no trouble stopping Antonio Mendes by TKO ref stoppage

Tito Ortiz vs Lyoto Machida
Round 1
The round was back and forth with Machida landing more leg kicks and being ahead, but Machida throws down Tito near the end of the round and lands a number of shots on the ground. Machida takes round 1.

Round 2
Tito and Machida basically dance for the entire second round. I give it to Machida on points, but Ortiz on willingness to fight.

Round 3
Tito attempts the triangle, but not enough to finish Machida. Machida takes round 3

Judges score a unanimous decision for Machida....that makes me 2-0 so far tonight.

Wilson Gouveia vs. Goran Reljic
Goran wins this after a couple of close rounds. Goran finishes this by landing a big punch, then ground and pound.

Wanderlei Silva vs Keith Jardine
Silva mauls Jardine, knocking him down, keeping him there and then KO'ing him. A decisive win for Wanderlei Silva.

BJ Penn vs Sean Sherk
BJ Penn dominated the standup for 3 rounds, then rushed a moving backward Sean Sherk, catching him with a big knee, then finished with some big punches from above.

Winner : BJ Penn

Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou vs. Kazuhiro Nakamura
This fight went only one round with Sokoudjou landing many kicks and basically controlling the standup. Near the end of the first, he knocked down Nakamura and Nakamura couldn't continue.

Winner : Sokoudjou

i think the ufc is done with him if i had been dana i wouldnt have put him in any fight save maby one i would love to see tito/griffion 2 with judges that can see other than that i have no use for tito he is a argoent ass and if he could fight half as good as he thought he Would Be a tittle holder

Jardine didn't beat Chuck? What's next, Sylvia was robbed in the Couture fight? Shamrock vs Tito 1 was a draw? He landed a dozen body kicks and knocked Chuck down. Jardine only had a cut in the first round that didn't affect him the next two. Anywho, I bet on Wanderlei so I'm happy.

i am not realy surpissed by any of the results all tho i must say i was pulling for jardine he has a verry good stand up game and a toufe chin but Wanderlei Silva is no joke and more than a hand full for any one in his class so i dont see how it is a insult to be beat by him bj penn what can i say the man is a stud and has made some of the badest asses in mma tap and i lost all respect for tito a verry long time ago all i woill say about him is i wont lose any sleep if dany doesent call him to fight again ever fight he has lost it has been one big excuse after another i dont respect that there is no shame being beat by a better trained fighter dont make excuses any way these are my opions only

wow dude learn how to spell , toufe? last time i checked it was tough. even tuff would have been better.its a good thing you made it to grade three.

...good for you tito , now you can go do some disney movies with vin diesel. every other fight was pointless and lame. chuck should retire...and joe rogan should die.

I hate Tito! But the bottom line is, he is a huge draw for the UFC. Dana should officially be labeled as retarded if he lets him go. They may hate each other, but they both love the money!

Tito's beat days are behind him and with most of the Pride fighters sucking, the UFC doesn't have much of a talent pool either.

Well, I guess if he was smart he'd call it a career too, but that's not gonna happen.

One ticket to WEC coming up, Kimbo is waiting....

Dana's ranking system is a joke too.

Dana, give me a call, I think I got one fight left in me, for at least 15 seconds.......
