Tonight is the big WEC show (June 1st, 2008) including the defining bout for the 145lb weight class. Uriah Faber vs Jens Pulver. Pulver was the first UFC lightweight champion, winning the belt in a hard fought match with Caol Uno, Faber is the current WEC 145lb champ. While both are outstanding wrestlers, Faber is the better of the two, but Pulver's big equalizer is the power in his punches, especially at 145lbs.

Kenneth Alexander Vs. Rob McCullough
Winner by split decision Rob McCullough
Chuck Grigsby Vs. Mark Munoz
Winner by KO Mark Munoz
Donald Cerrone Vs. Danny Castillo
I was very impressed with Donald Cerrone in this fight, his standup looked crisp and when the fight went to the ground he transitioned nicely and didn't take long to sink in an armbar.
Winner by verbal tap, Donald Cerrone
Yoshiro Maeda Vs. Miguel Angel Torres
A fantastic fight, one of the best so far in 2008. Torres ends up dominating round 3 and the ref stops the fight because of the condition of Maeda's right eye. Really, if you can find a copy of this fight somewhere watch it!
Winner by ref stoppage Miguel Angel Torres
Urijah Faber Vs. Jens Pulver
Pulver fought a good fight, but in the end Urijah Faber dominated the fight.
