Nate Marquardt to Fight For Middleweight Title

Nate Marquardt

Dana White has promised UFC middleweight Nate "The Great" Marquardt a title shot later this year, this came after his dominant victory over Dean Lister (he knocked Lister down 5 times). The big question is "who will Nate be fighting?"

My pics for people he would have to face by the time he gets his shot are:

1) Anderson Silva
2) Rich Franklin
3) Jason MacDonald
4) Mike Swick

Obviously Anderson Silva is way out in front as Franklin needs to re-work his game if he's to re-gain his title. The others are outside shots to take the title away from Silva.

Outside shots, indeed, Johnny. Here's another thing we're going to agree on. Your order is correct, and althou I think Swick is overrated, he deserves to be up there, as long as I get the next title shot.
