Chuck Liddell is Injured

Chuck Liddell won't be fighting on June 7th at UFC 85. Liddell injured him hamstring and has pulled out of his June 7th fight with undefeated light heavyweight contender Rashad Evans. According to Dana White, Chuck still wanted to fight, but Dana (and the UFC) believes that everyone would be better served if Chuck lets his injury heal and ocmes in at 100%.

Even without Chuck fighting, you can be sure that we will have full UFC 85 results posted here. Also, UFC 84 is being held on May 24th, featuring a title bout between Sean Sherk and BJ Penn. Also on the UFC 84 fight card is Tito Ortiz vs Lyoto Machida and Wanderlei Silva vs Keith Jardine. UFC 84 results will be available on this site on fight night.

Shogun vs Liddell

It looks like Mauricio "Shogun" Rua will take on Chuck Liddell on June 14th in England. This will be part of the UFC 85 fight card.

Chuck Liddell vs Wanderlei Silva is official

Dana White has finally announced that Chuck Liddell will fight Wanderlei Silva on December 29th at UFC 79. Of course many in the MMA community found this out when Direct TV slipped up with some early advertising for the fight.

Still, it's nice to hear that the fight I've been waiting so long to see is finally official. I'll be writing a breakdown of the keys to victory for each fighter soon, so check back for that.

Rashad Evans vs Michael Bisping
While many fans aren't really that excited about this fight, remember that both fighters are undefeated and this might put one of them into title contention.

Houston Alexander vs Thiago Silva
Houston Alexander is on the fast track to the top of the UFC 205lb division. Another decisive showing in this fight and he will also be in title contention.

UFC 79 Ice Man vs Axe Murderer

One of the most anticipated fights in the short history of mixed martial arts is Chuck Liddell versus Wanderlei Silva. Since 2003 this on again, off again match up has teased fans of both the UFC and Pride fighting championships, but now it looks like the fight may be on again.

UFC 79 on December 29th, 2007 is the rumored date for the fight to take place. The venue is in Las Vegas and the anticipation could not be any higher. It's true that both Wanderlei and Chuck are coming off back to back losses, but when you look at those losses and the quality of opposition it's clear that both of these guys are still at the top of their game

UFC Results has a new domain, new server, but the same site

Hello Everyone, welcome to our new server. After last weekends fiasco with my host shutting me down right in the middle of UFC 76 I decided to move this site to a new dedicated host. So, here we are. While I was at it I changed the domain name from mma.gocurious.com to www.ufcresultslive.com.

If you have a blog with a link to this site, changing it to the new address will help. Don't worry though, mma.gocurious.com will still take you to this site (until you get used to typing the new address).

Anyway, enough of the non mma news. Ok, here's some news for you. Chuck Liddell earned $500,000 for his decision loss to Keith Jardine while Jardine earned $14,000. I'm guessing that Jardine will make more than that for his next fight
