K-1 Results

Well, I watched the K-1 Dynamite show and some of the matches were exciting if not terribly competative. I'm not going to post all of the K-1 Dynamite results here, but in the two main matches.

Royce Gracie defeated Kazushi Sakuraba
and
Brock Lesnar defeated some other guy (not the huge guy he was supposed to face). Lesnar defeated the guy by ground and pound submission. It would be interesting to see Lesnar against a real MMA heavyweight, of if you want to keep to the freak show matches, Brock Lesnar vs Bob Sapp would be a natural.

K-1 Hero's this weekend

Although I've seen rumors all over the net that the K-1 Heroes show this weekend was having trouble, mostly with getting Sakuraba medically cleared and getting Choi Hong-man medically cleared.

I'm going to assume that this card will go on as planned. On Saturday June 2nd.

The two big fights for this K-1 Hero's card are:

Brock Lensar vs Choi Hong-man under K-1 Hero's MMA rules
and
Royce Gracie vs Kazushi Sakuraba under K-1 Hero's MMA rules

K-1 Dynamite USA Featuring Sakuraba vs Gracie

On June 2, 2007 Kazushi Sakuraba and Royce Gracie go at it for a second time, their first bout lasted something like 90 minutes under special pride rules. This time K-1 is having this fight under "normal" MMA rules. Could be interesting.

WWE Superstar Brock Lesnar will also be on the card, he faces Hong-Man Choi from Korea.

Mighty Mo, Ray Sefo, Javier Vasquez and Dong Sik Yoon are the only other names that I recognize on the card. Sorry folks, I've only seen a few K-1 events.
