The UFC has offered a fight to Randy Couture, a fight against former Pride heavyweight champion, Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira.

Dana White said:

“We officially offered it to him and we haven't heard back yet. We should know this week. He (sent me a text message) yesterday and said he wants to sit down and talk.”

About Sean Sherk and The Interim Lightweight Title

Dana White said this in a press conference:

“B.J. Penn and Joe Stevenson are going to fight for the interim title. We'll see what happens with Sherk. If Sherk is found guilty, we'll support the (California) State Athletic Commission and he'll probably be stripped of his title. If not, then he'll keep his title and it will be champion vs. champion.”

And as part of our new Dana White said category, this about Randy Couture's departure.

I consider Randy Couture a friend and still do. He hooked up with some Hollywood agent that I bitch slapped about a month ago, and these Hollywood agents are parasites, so unfortunately this guy is probably in Randy’s ear right now.

This (I believe) was from the question and answer session on a recent (October) UFC conference call.

This about Dan Henderson. I guess Hendo doesn't want to drop to 185lbs and Dana White thinks that he should Dan Henderson is the current Pride 185lb champion, a title which is quickly loosing it's meaning since Pride has officially closed their doors.

Note: The entire Dana White said section of this blog are just random things I've found from around the net. I assume most of them are true, but take them with a grain of salt...especially if your name happens to be Dana White.
